On this magnificent Earth we call home, are numerous influential and sacred alignments — some of which may be considered coincidence and to others as synchronicities.  One of these synchronicities are “Ley Lines” which connect powerful points of energy creating energy vortex sites around the globe. What is fascinating is that these lines connect many of the sacred sites in a linear pattern.

The point of intersection where the ley lines meet creates a vortex which connects prominent landmarks and historical structures such as Bell Rock in Sedona and the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo. The unusual thing about vortexes is that they create more earthly energy than any other regular place on our planet. The way these vortexes are interconnected interestingly resembles many astrological constellations such as the pyramids in Egypt. 

What are Ley Lines?

Ley lines are potent with strong electromagnetic energy and are thought to be what connects all life to the field of Gaia, our beautiful Earth to the ethereal and universal energies beyond the physical plane.  

While there is no tangible geographic “map” per se that we can see with the eye, ley lines are easily traceable because they intersect on such powerful sacred sites.  Because ley lines are more of an energetic existence, we cannot necessarily “see” or “prove” the existence of them through scientific measures, but rather through observation and experience. When we take time to silence the “thinking mind”, we may feel the intense energy that these places create. It is likely that these sacred sites were intentionally constructed on these lines of energies. Who discovered Ley Lines?

Alfred Watkins is the man behind the idea of Ley Lines. He was a photographer and an amateur archaeologist based in the United Kingdom. Watkins came to this realization about the interconnectedness of important points in the 1920s while he was exploring the lands and sacred sites of Britain. What was intriguing to him is that these sacred sites, including the megalithic sites like stonehenge actually have a specific alignment when they are observed from an aerial as well as a geometrical point of view. Watkins concluded that these lines were probably ancient trade routes. By introducing the world to this theory he opened a new world of possibilities in the field of supernatural beliefs and spiritually important topics.

Ley lines around the world

People have been aware of ley lines from the ancient times long before they were “discovered” by Watkins.  In different areas of the planet, they have different names. For example, in China, they are called “dragon lines”, in Australia “dream lines” or “song lines” and South America “spirit lines” or the “nazca lines” in Peru. Ley lines are everywhere from Sedona Arizona, to Croatia in the Balkans, Peru, Stonehenge and the pyramids in Egypt and many more. 

These high vibrational places on the planet work together. When they intersect through ley lines they form a grid around our wonderful planet Earth. This grid serves as a protection and helps balance out the energies on the planet.
